Ramble On

READ MY NONSENSICAL BABBLE ABOUT MY DAILY INTERACTIONS

How do we determine true joy and laughter? Hanging out with my little cousin, I was surrounded by the endless care-free laughter of an extremely hyper-active toddler. On numerous occasions, i found myself asking what was making him laugh so much. All he did in reply was giggle. Then I started thinking about how how much fun i'd had as a kid without responsibilities and worries. I enjoyed playing in the dirt after school even when I knew my mother would scold me for getting my uniform filthy. I miss those days, when everyday seemed to have laughter associated with it. Whether it was learning something new in school or running around in the school yard during recess, i found a way to be the clown of my own circus. Maybe having him over was a sign. I went and saw Frank Caliendo later that night. He's simply hilarious. I tried recording a clip from the show, but the light conditions and the incessant crowd laughter didn't allow for a worthwhile youtube upload.

Now i'm thinking about how much more I need to laugh in my life. Laughter is said to increase longevity, so here's to more laughter... true laughter that leads to longer life and more time spent with the ones we love.
